As you know, we stay on the hunt for new music to rock with and share with you. It’s been a minute since Mick Jenkins dropped off his album, Pieces of a Man. We’ve patiently awaited his return, and it seems like the wordsmith has been putting in work. Today Mr. Jenkins is back with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment, serving up a video as well. The track is titled “Percy” and was produced by greenSLIME.
The track finds Mick showing off his lyrical abilities, dong so flawlessly while getting one hell of an instrumental to do his thing. Mr. Jenkins takes to the track and unleashes a barrage of his lyrical prowess, bringing those bars to life with a fitting set of visuals. The clip finds Mick doing his thing while offering something gritty and cinematic. Mick is seen doing his thing in a number of settings, adding a nice vibe to the track in the process. This man never disappoints, and he certainly doesn’t start today. The video is the first offering since Mick’s “Consensual Seduction” with Corinne Bailey Rae. Mick always delivers something worth rocking with, and he keeps the trend going with this one.
