Mike Posner has been on a mission in 2019. The singer/songwriter, producer, and more has been walking across the United States, exploring the country along the way. He’s doing something that many of us just wouldn’t do, and he’s unleashing a bevy of new music along the way. After battling a snakebite that sent him to the hospital, Mr. Posner is back on the move, and he’s back with another new track. This time around, he links up with Logic for a smooth new joint entitled “Fun Up Here.”
The track finds the duo giving us something slower and more laid back, a perfect track to kick back and relax to. The single is driven by some smooth, highly contagious melodic elements which come seamlessly paired with some slick mid-tempo drum work. The combination provides an excellent combination for the duo, who offer a dose of their respective talents. The track finds the fellas going through a number of scenarios while Posner reaches for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The Detroit native is heard rhyming and using his unique voice along the way. Logic rings the bars, showing off his prowess behind the mic while adding to an already impressive track. These two sound great together, and Mike continues his release of outstanding collaborations. Mike Posner sings on the track, “It’s fun up here Feeling real good I’m just sliding down a rainbow Got a lot of legroom I’m looking for my pot of gold,” offering something uplifting and contagious.
