We’ve seen some interesting takes on modern architecture and design. Today we take a look at something that offers an otherworldly retreat right here at home. The Jupe Flat-Pack Shelter is a portable off-grid shelter designed with a modern, futuristic look. The shelter was inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: Space Odyssey boasting an aluminum pole frame and a glowing Firesist fabric exterior.
The structure can be flat-packed and assembled in hours, offering a 111-square foot interior. Inhabitants are surrounded by tall ceilings, finished Baltic birch wood floors, a queen bed, and a storage area. A large entryway connects the interior to your scenery of choice. The design also features a 200 amp hour battery and solar array with electrical outlets, USB charging stations, and a private wi-fi network to keep you connected. This is a great way to pack up and see the world in comfort.
