Modern Luxury | The Oenoke Ridge House

In case you didn’t know by now, we have an affinity for modern architecture. The Oenoke Ridge House is a prime example of why we’re drawn in this direction. This outstanding home was designed by John Black Lee, a prominent architect in New Canaan, during the rise of mid-century modern design. This home is a beautiful example of his work, a 5,612-square-foot dwelling on 2.8 wooded acres.

The home’s exterior is clean, sleek, and minimalistic. This drapes the rectangular forms, while a white and glass facade provides views of the scenery around it. The home is one of multiple designs that the architect provided in the area. The house was built in 1957, and the interior was renovated by Architect Joel Sanders. The living space has a contemporary update for modern living, keeping its original charm and character flawlessly intact.

Take a closer look at this stunning modern home in the images below and place your bid at Sotheby’s International Realty. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more examples of contemporary architecture coming soon.
