It’s no big secret that a massive change is coming to the automotive industry. Electric power is the wave of the future, as are electric sports cars. The good folks over at Ford are back, returning to showcase the future of power and performance by pairing up with Webasto. The two have come together to create the Ford X Webasto Mustang Lithium Electric Coupe. This stunning machine is a step in the right direction when it comes to modern power and an iconic design.
The all-electric Ford Mustang Lithium is a 900 horsepower, capable of producing 1,000 ft-lb of torque. While it’s not your typical Mustang, it has all of the muscles one could design. It also takes the original pony car into the realm of supercars, even boasting a six-speed manual transmission. The manual transmission adds a nice touch of driver-centric fun.
Instead of punch it and go, one-pedal affairs, this unique machine adds a driver’s element that certainly adds to its appeal. Striking and sleek, the looks of the car match what’s under the hood, keeping things modern and stylish. While Ford hasn’t released any details as of yet, we expect to hear more about the Mustang Lithium coming soon. While SEMA one-offs aren’t known for their practicality, Ford did hint at an upcoming Mustang-based Mach E SUV.
Take a closer look at this stunning example of modern muscle in the images below and look for more modern muscle coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding automobiles coming very soon.
