Modern Speed | Porsche Reveals The New 911 Turbo S Coupe & Cabriolet

The good folks over at Porsche have a long history of speed and style. Known for crafting some of the most iconic and eye-catching rides on the planet, today, the automaker is back with their most powerful 911’s yet. Today we get our first look at the new 911 Turbo S Coupe & Cabriolet. These two new iterations mark an extension of the 911 family, offering two powerful new renditions in the process. The new models represent the best of the 992-era, each one powered by a revised 3.8-liter flat-six engine.

The Turbocharged unit now boasts 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, capable of a 0-60 mph time of just 2.6 seconds for the coupe and 2.7 seconds for the convertible. Both iterations of the 911 Turbo S will reach a top speed of 205 MPH, offering four-wheel-drive to keep things grounded and moving.

The Turbo S stands out thanks to a wider, lower stance while providing better aerodynamics and agility. Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, rear-axle steering, and Porsche’s signature ceramic composite brakes are a nice touch as well. The vehicles have also been outfitted with adaptive-lowering sports suspension and sports exhaust system.

Take a closer look at the new Porsche 911 Turbo S and Turbo S Cabriolet in the gallery below and find out more from Porsche immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides coming very soon.
