No strangers to speed and style, Aston Martin is back. This time around, the automaker is back with a look at its first serial production mid-engine supercar. Dubbed the Valhalla, this stunning machine serves as a stablemate to Aston Martin’s Valkyrie hypercar. The Aston Martin Valhalla features a highly modified AMG Black hybrid drivetrain, including a flat-plane crank V8 and two electric motors. This results in 937 horsepower, which makes for a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds.
The exterior is a sleek, molded finish with a low front end that swoops over the tires and into the cabin. The rear features a wide stance with bulbous fenders that hug the tires flawlessly. The interior is sleek and stylish, effortlessly complementing the outside.
The vehicle features active all-wheel-drive that can put up to 100% of the electric motors’ output to either the front or rear axle. The active damper system was developed by Multimatic, with chassis and aerodynamic design input by the Red Bull F1 team. If 0-60 in 2.5 wasn’t impressive enough, the Valhalla boasts a top speed of around 217 mph.
Take a closer look at this powerful new machine in the images and head over to Aston Martin to find out more. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more from the automotive world.
