Monsters of Art | Kevin Lyons Reveals Colorful Monsters At Doota Mall In Seoul

The acclaimed visual artist, Kevin Lyons, has taken his talents to South Korea. The artist recently launched a collaborative pop-up installation inside the DT275 boutique in Seoul’s Doota Mall. The visual artist set up a slew of colorful monsters throughout the mall, also unveiling a barrage of merchandise as well. The range comes comprised of graphic tees, tote bags, coffee tumblers, and cellphone cases.

All of the partnered designs come rocking Lyons’ signature, colorful monsters. These monsters are seen with a selection of whimsical expressions and poses. However, the icing on the cake is a large-scale inflatable sculpture of a pink monster outside of the shopping mall. The artist spoke about the creations and his characters. He stated: “All monsters represent my character. Different monsters can be seen to represent each of me. Therefore, rather than give each one a name, I think each monster gathers like a puzzle piece to complete one big piece.”

The colorful display will remain open at DT275 until November 10th. Take a closer look at the installation in the images below and find out more from DT275 right now. Be sure to keep it locked here to The Culture Curators for more art and street art coming soon.
