Gaming has evolved incredibly through the past few decades. As gaming and gaming franchises became more popular, video games became a staple of multiple generations. ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ has become quite a popular game. After releasing the latest update, the battle royale game based on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has garnered 50 million players. The latest update introduced the Quads four-player-team game mode, as well as new loot pools and more.
‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ has already crushed milestone after milestone before hitting the 50 million player mark. Within 24 hours of its launch, the game pulled in six million players. That’s much more than the previous 2.5 million-player record held by Apex Legends. The game then reached 15 million players within three days of its release, now hitting 50 million gamers within one month. The milestone also comes after some player backlash, resulting in the revival of Trios. The mode was reinstated just two days after Quads was launched.
