New Heights! The Fujiyama Tower

Back in 1996, Fuji-Q Highland’s Fujiyama roller coaster opened. What was once the tallest coaster in the world, the roller coaster has allowed guests to get unadulterated views of the area, including stunning views of the legendary Mount Fuji. The Fujiyama roller coaster is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and the park is adding something new to the attraction for non-riding guests; the Fujiyama Tower.

Today we get a look at the updates that will be taking place to the  Fujiyama Tower. The park is adding a Sky Deck at 180 feet, allowing visitors the best views of the surrounding area. However, the tower will also be host to a harnessed walk around the coaster track. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a tube slide to the ground, offering folks several ways to enjoy the park without having to ride the roller coaster. The new features are unique and are sure to provide a memorable experience for park patrons.

The tower is expected to open in the Summer of 2021, offering some of the best views around and a unique way to see the world. Take a closer look at  Fujiyama Tower in the images and learn more about the new design from Fuji-Q Highland. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more design and architecture coming soon.
