New Speed | Ferrari Portofino M Spider

Here at The Culture Curators, we like anything moves fast. From cars to bikes, scooters, and even skateboards, the need for speed is very real around these parts. The good folks over at Ferrari share this passion for speed, as well as a passion for design. Today the iconic automaker is back in the news with a look at something new. This time around, we get our first look at the all-new  Ferrari Portofino M Spider.

The Portofino grand tourer is getting upgraded and updated for 2021, and it looks to be an impressive machine. The ride was unveiled in Ferrari’s first online-only event, showcasing a wide range of improvements and updates. First and foremost, the power. The vehicle gained an increase of 20 horsepower from the 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, cranking out 612 horses in the process.

The engine has been mated with a new eight-speed rear-mounted transaxle, keeping things grounded and under control. The electronics have been reprogrammed, which means the vehicle will now deliver all 561 lb-ft of torque in only seventh and eighth gears. This makes for smoother power delivery, better low-speed drivability, and improved fuel economy.

The exterior has a few subtle changes as well, including the front air vents and rear diffuser, while a new Race mode has been added to the steering wheel-mounted selector. This machine is nothing short of impressive and something we wouldn’t be ashamed to be seen in.

Take a closer look at the new Portofino M and find out more from Ferrari right now. The ride is expected to arrive in late Spring of 2021. While we wait, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides, classic cars, and custom vehicles coming very soon.
