Next Level! Gatorade Reveals The Gx Sweat Patch

The good folks over at Gatorade are back and looking to give athletes everywhere access to Gatorade Sports Science Institute. The brand returns to reveal a new fitness wearable, the Gx Sweat Patch. The Gx Sweat Patch is a one-time use, a first-to-market wearable that tests users’ sweat to determine hydration. The patch links up with Gatorade’s Gx App to inform how efficiently they hydrate.

The goal is to hopefully help them recover faster, avoid lactic-acid build-up and cramps. The Gx Sweat Patch is applied on the left inner arm prior to workouts, allowing the patch to absorb the sweat. After the workout, the patch can be scanned on the Gx App, where insights let athletes know how much fluid they lost. The patch also tracks biometrics during fitness activities, even offering recommendations for specific types of workouts.

The Gx Sweat Patch and Gx App is just the beginning. Take a look at the design in the image up top and head over to Gatorade to find out more right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more lifestyle news coming very soon.
