Nike is back at it yet again. With a slew of SB Dunks arriving lately, Nike SB returns with another nod to America’s favorite pastime. After celebrating teams like the Phillies and Giants, today we get a look at the Nike SB Dunk High “New York Mets.” The sneakers arrive with uppers crafted from a combination of suede and canvas.
The muted gray upper matches the Mets’ away uniforms, while blue Swooshes and tongue tabs accent the silhouette. Orange details are found on the exposed stitching and Nike SB branding. On the inside of the tongue, the shoe features an MTA 7 train logo on the left shoe and an apple on the right side to mimic the team’s logo. The sneakers are finished with gum outsoles with a “bubblegum” blotch for added appeal.
