The creative minds over at PUMA are back, and they return with another collaboration. Paying homage to the good ol’ days, the imprint has linked up with Sonic The Hedgehog and Rubiks Brand Ltd. for some new sneakers. After debuting the RS-X3 line in October, PUMA and Rubiks Brand are looking to expand on the silhouette. The RS-X3 Rubiks features a bold design, rocking bright primary and secondary colors found in a Rubiks cube. The design adds a playful touch to the silhouette, while a full apparel collection will accompany the sneakers.
For the Sonic collaboration, PUMA found inspiration in the famous blue hedgehog created by SEGA. The collabo arrives just in time for the release of the Sonic The Hedgehog film in February 2020. The RS-X3 Sonic is embellished with iconic gaming elements like golden rings and checked graphic detailing in an all-black colorway. The sneakers are detailed with pops of red and blue. The two will also release an exclusive capsule collection, which includes a graphic tee and a hoodie. The RS-X3 Sonic is the second collaboration between Sonic and PUMA.
