Now Sold! Paul Walker’s ‘Fast & Furious’ Toyota Supra Sells For $550,000 USD

Well, the Toyota Supra film car from Fast & Furious recently sold, and a new record was set. The car was introduced in the film after Paul Walker‘s character Brian O’Conner gets his Mitsubishi Eclipse blown up. After owing Dominic Toretto a ten-second car, O’Connor finds a Toyota Supra Mark IV with the iconic 2JZ still intact. The vehicle was then upgraded with “overnight parts from Japan,” resulting in the Candy Orange Supra that fans have come to love.

While the film was fiction, the details of the vehicle are real and impressive. Eddie Paul built the ride at The Shark Shop in El Segundo, California. The car features the twin-turbo 3.0-liter 2JZ-GTE engine, “Nuclear Gladiator” graphics by Troy Lee Designs, a Bomex body kit, APR racing wing, 19-inch Racing Hart M5 wheels, a momo steering wheel, and several gauges. The one downside to the ride is that it’s a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The vehicle sold for $550,000 USD at Barrett-Jackson‘s Las Vegas auction and now holds the record for the most expensive Supra ever sold. Check out the short video below and head over to Barrett-Jackson’s website for more information. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more auto-related news coming very soon.
