Old Meets New | Classic Recreations Villain Mustang Fastback

Known for taking classic cars and adding a modern approach, Classic Recreations is back with another one. This time around, they have taken a legendary Mustang and added their unique touches to create something exceptional, creating the Villain Mustang Fastback. The Oklahoma-base customizers took a ’67-’68 Mustang fastback, revamping the ride into an exception classic with a modern dose of horsepower, handling, braking, and creature comforts.

Dubbed the Villain Mustang Fastback, the vehicle started with a ’67-’68 bodyshell. The body was completely restored, removing any imperfections before moving forward. From there, the chassis was outfitted with a Fab9 rear end with coil-over shocks and Wilwood six-piston brakes at each corner. However, the power plant under the hood is the star of the show. Power comes from a 427 cubic-inch Ford Coyote V8 with Holley fuel injection, pushing 545 horsepower. That power is mated to a five-speed Tremec or automatic transmission, while a supercharged 770 horsepower engine is also available. This might just be the best blend of old and new that you will find on the road.

The interior is outfitted with classic Mustang design cues, including new vintage-look seats and custom Villain gauges. Take a closer look at the Villain Mustang Fastback in the images below and find out more about it from Classic Restorations immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new cars, classic cars, and more coming soon.
