Toyota has built a legacy and reputation on quality automobiles. We’re big fans of Toyota and the reliability that comes along with them here at The Culture Curators. Today we get a look at a legend, a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser. This stunning machine comes from Medellin, Columbia and it’s currently up for auction. This eye-catching 1982 Toyota FJ43 features some unique details that bring it into the modern era. The original engine was swapped for a 4.5-liter inline-six and five-speed manual transmission from a 2001 Land Cruiser.
Those new features pair well with the new axles, differentials, brake system, and power steering; offering a modern upgrade in the process. The ride sits on a heavy-duty Old Man Emu suspension kit while boasting an array of other creature comforts in the process. This Land Cruiser is incredible, to say the least. The seller added a fiberglass top, ICON aluminum mirrors, and a roof rack. Also supplying it with a fresh coat of period-correct beige paint. The military-style jump seats were replaced with an interior roll bar. While the audio system has been updated as well, boasting a system by JL Audio for all your listening needs. The ride also comes with a bevy of spare parts that are sure to keep you running for quite a long time to come. This bad boy is pristine and certainly worth adding to any fleet of fine automobiles.
