The good folks over at PUMA are expanding their fleet of footwear yet again. PUMA returns to debut the newest basketball sneaker in its growing hoops division: The Sky. The sneaker is a relaunch from the original style worn on-court in the ‘80s. This time around, the sneaker returns with a modern aesthetic that expands on the original that dropped four decades ago. The heritage mid-top silhouette is infused with a touch of today’s modern elements, boasting a sleek and stylish approach from heel to toe.
The sneaker is even adorned with a Dreamville “Dreamer” emblem. The silhouette is the first new basketball silhouette from PUMA of the year, and it is set to arrive in two separate colorways. First, we see a classic all-over white and cream option in Sky Dreamer, while Sky Modern comes in a classic white and navy combo. Both pairs come equipped with PUMA Hoops tech, including the brand’s signature ProFoam cushioning and high-abrasion grip. To help with the launch, PUMA linked up with Los Angeles Lakers standout and recent signee, Kyle Kuzma, to debut the silhouette.
