While fans of Ford go nuts over the new Ford Bronco, the good folks over at Gateway Bronco are creating something different. Today we get a look at the Gateway EV Bronco, a brainchild of the Illinois-based company, who has been crafting resto modded versions of Ford’s first-gen SUV for years.
This time around, they are offering the second generation of their electrified classic Bronco, the LUXE-GT Electric Classic. This bad boy is impressive and eye-catching, offering more range than its predecessor. The vehicle features a 540-volt drivetrain that uses a 220kW electric motor. This equates to 400 horsepower and a 4.7-second 0-60 time, all while boasting a range of around 300 miles.
The LUXE-GT features a custom JRide Electronic Ride Control Suspension, which allows the driver to select different ride modes on the fly. The SUV sits on top of 33-inch Toyo tires on 18-inch wheels, while the interior has been completely updated. The vehicle boasts modern features with a classic look, bringing all of the classic details Ford fans initially fell in love with.
Take a closer look at the LUXE-GT Electric Classic and learn more about this impressive machine from Gateway Bronco. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new rides, resto-mods, and classic cars coming very soon.
