Out Of This World! A Look Inside Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ Hotel

While one would imagine you’d have to visit a galaxy far, far away to stay at a ‘Star Wars’ hotel, Disney is changing everything. Today Disney is back in the news, returning with a look inside the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ Hotel. Chairman of Disney Parks, Experience and Products, Josh D’Amaro providing a preview of the hotel during the IAAPA Expo: Virtual Education Conference.

This comes as the company is building on its popular franchises with Avengers Campus at Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Now we get a preview of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The attraction is set to offer a “completely new type of experience,” one which invites guests to become the hero of their own Star Wars journey. When guests arrive, they will go to a special terminal before they are ushered into a launch pod. After arriving at the atrium, guests are then immersed in a unique experience. The accommodations are modeled like the cabins of a starcruiser, boasting room for up to five.

The stay also includes an excursion to the planet of Batuu to visit Black Spire Outpost, Galaxy’s Edge. Take a closer look at the ‘Star Wars’ hotel in the short video below and look for much more from Disney coming very soon.
