Over the past few years, we’ve seen the ideal vacation destination evolve. We’re more interested in the experience instead of the luxury, and destinations are getting more and more exotic. Today we get a look at a unique vacation that will take you out of this world, literally. The Galaxsea Space Hotel is the first of its kind.
This unique retreat imagines a 3,052-square-foot, 3D-printed solar boat that sails above Earth. The vessel will be crafted from asteroid materials and feature an exoskeleton similar to a honeycomb or seashell. While on-board, the 15,000 guests would be able to spend time in a bevy of unique areas.
These include botanic gardens, a biology research center, opera house, Un-Gravity Ballroom, and swimming through the emptiness in the Void Pools. The views are sure to be phenomenal as well, offering a glimpse into a world unknown to our eyes. This is undoubtedly a unique retreat, and one you are sure to remember for years to come.
