Today we get a look at the 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster. This eye-catching machine features those timeless lines that automotive fans have come to love, as well as Jaguar’s race-proven inline-six.
This beautiful left-hand-drive E-Type was delivered to its first owner in California in 1961. Since then, it has had only three other owners and even underwent a Concours-level frame-off restoration by Jaguar expert Dave Ferguson in 2013. The ride has been equipped with a five-speed gearbox and larger front disc brakes. This pristine example is considered the best of the E-Type’s 14-year production run.
