Own An Icon | 1967 Chevrolet L88 Corvette Coupe

The Corvette is an icon. It’s an important part of American muscle car history, and it’s evolved nicely with the times. From ’67 to ’69, the best Corvette available to the public was the L88 Corvette Coupe option package. The ride featured a 427 cubic inch V8, which was the closest you could get to a pure racing engine from GM. Individuals were discouraged from buying them, as they were being sold to racing teams and went directly to the track.

Back in 1967, only 20 L88 Corvettes were sold, and not many survived. Today we get a look at one particular that is currently up for grabs. This beautiful 1967 Chevrolet L88 Corvette Coupe comes in a striking Sunfire Yellow paint job, and it’s the only one with its original engine. The vehicle has been restored down to the last nut and bolt, while the L88 427 makes an estimated 560 horsepower. It also comes with extensive documentation, including the original sales contract, Nevada title, and even a video interview with the original owner. If there is a legendary Corvette, this is the ‘one.’

Take a closer look at this eye-catching beauty in the images below and head over to find out more from Corvette Mike. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more classic cars, new rides, and more coming very soon.
