Own An Icon | 1975 Porsche 911 Coupe

Back in 1975, Porsche changed everything with the debut of the very first 911. Since then the 911 has become an icon, a legend of the road and track. Today we get a look at a classic 911 from their first year of production. However, this 1975 Porsche 911 Coupe is not one of those original turbocharged models. This is a tribute that is both mind-blowing and quite 9impressive. The ride is more on par with the legendary 935 race car, staring its life as a 1975 911S.

The car was modified by Patrick motorsports with RSR-style steel fenders and older “long hood.” The ride is also host to 934/935-style mirrors and round taillights, while a handmade ducktail spoiler adds a nice touch as well. The ride is covered in a one-off color created by a famous designer. Power comes from a 964-era 3.6-liter flat-six, which was increased to 3.8-liters with twin turbochargers, making over 550 horsepower.

This one-off is like nothing we’ve seen before, and it’s certainly one worth adding to any collection of classic cars. Take a closer look at this gem in the images below and head over to European Collectibles to find out more right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more classic cars coming very soon.
