Today we get a look at a beautiful example, a stunning Porsche 356 Pre-A Glaser Split Window Cabriolet. This beautiful machine was initially made from 1948 to late 1952, boasting outstanding attention to detail and unrivaled quality for its time.
The split-window 356 was among the earliest of the model produced, while the Glaser 356 cabriolets were sent to coachbuilder Glaser for conversion. This was due to the primary modifier Reutter’s shop being filled with orders. That detail also resulted in less than 130 Glasers ever built.
This stunning model has been restored to a very high level, draped in an eye-catching dark blue exterior. The black interior is simply stunning, while the blacktop adds a touch of elegance and sleek appeal. A period-correct 1,300cc air-cooled flat-four powers the vehicle.
