Looking to add a bit of off-road excellence to your fleet? Well, the online auction site Collecting Cars currently has something iconic (no pun intended) up for grabs. This Icon 1962 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser SUV is something special. The vehicle was stripped down to bare metal before being fully restored by the good folks over at Icon in California. Known for taking off-road-ready rides to new heights, this FJ40 Land Cruiser is ready to roll.
The original engine was swapped with a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel four-cylinder which is mated to a five-speed transmission. The body and wheels are powder coated in Rocky Mountain Grey, while Hella headlights were installed with front and rear auxiliary lighting. The interior features black leather seats with Chilewich centers, while an Alpine stereo provides entertainment. The vehicle also comes with manuals for the Warn winch and shows just 15,000 miles covered since the restoration.
