Own This Legend | 1991 Vector W8 Twin Turbo Coupe

When it comes to automobiles, we have an affinity for unique, fast, and eye-catching designs. One of the most unique cars to ever make it into production was the Vector W8. This stunning ride came out of Wilmington, California, in 1989, though it didn’t last long. Vector only made 17 customer cars and two prototypes before eventually folding in 1993. Today we get to check out a 1991 Vector W8. The W8 stands out as one of the most original cars ever made, rocking an eye-catching design with stunning attention to detail. The ride is a brilliant combination of performance and design, the brainchild of veteran auto designer Gerald Wiegert.

The W8 took many elements from the aircraft industry in both design and construction. Some of these details include a bonded and riveted frame, as well as optimized aerodynamics, and even digital instruments from fighter jets. The ride is powered by a six-liter twin-turbo V8 churning out 625 horsepower, with dyno runs producing 1,200 at max boost pressure. This provided the W8 with a 0-60 time under three seconds and a theoretical top speed of 242 mph. This particular W8 seen before you is for sale by the original owner and comes in immaculate condition inside and out. The ride only has over 2,000 miles since new, even coming with all of the documentation as well.
