The good folks over at Toyota are back, and they return in a big way. After revealing the 2020 Toyota Supra at SEMA last year, Toyota is looking to showcase a new concept. This time around, we get our first look at the 2021 GR Supra Sport Top. The vehicle takes after the GR Supra Heritage Edition, rocking a sleek design that features a roofless approach.
The result echoes the beloved Supra Mk IV. The ride features circular rear lights like the MK IV, while a “Basket Handle” rear wing serves as a unique throwback as well. The roof is crafted from two 3D-printed composite panels that can be removed and stowed away in the trunk. The 2021 Toyota GR Supra features reinforced structural integrity, including the roof’s outer body structure and the underbody.
Elsewhere the ride has been outfitted with a new diffuser, while the exterior is seen in “Absolute Zero” white with “Black Piano” finishes. The interior is draped in red leather, which flawlessly contrasts the outside of the machine. This bad boy is nothing short of sleek and stylish, paying homage to the past while speeding into the future.
