The brand with the three stripes makes its return. Today adidas is back in celebration of the Superstar’s 50th anniversary. In doing so, they have aligned with longtime collaborator BAPE for an elevated take on the classic silhouette. This year’s version arrives in two colorways, a classic black and white design, alongside a bold, colorful ABC camo iteration.
The left side of each shoe features adidas’ iconic Three Stripes branding, while the opposite features BAPE’s famous shooting star logo. The right shoe features BAPE branding on the tongue tag and the heel, while the left shoe is host to adidas Originals branding. This isn’t the first time BAPE and adidas have teamed up on the Superstar. The duo’s first collaboration was a Superstar back in 2003. More followed in 2011 and 2015, while BAPE also has its own version of the Superstar called the “Skull-Sta.”
