As you know by now, we stay on the hunt for new music worth bringing to your attention. Today we’re back with exactly that. After introducing themselves last week, Ta-Ku & Matt McWaters are back. They are collectively known as Please Wait, and today they return with a smooth new track called “Rush.” The new single arrives after “Flight 99” with Masego, and once again they do not disappoint. The fellas are gearing up to drop of an EP on December 13th called ‘Black & White.’
“Rush” is the second single from the impending EP, and they bring something infectious. Ta-Ku and Matt bring their a-game, while Alayna offers up a solid addition to the mix in the process. The track is driven by a smooth dose of melodic elements while paired with some crisp, snappy drum sections. The result is something special, providing the group with a nice backdrop to showcase their respective talents. The single is a candid reflection of the heartache that comes with ending a once loving relationship.
