Pop Smoke – Shoot For the Stars, Aim For the Moon

Back in February, the rising star known as Pop Smoke was tragically murdered in Los Angeles. The Brooklyn native was on the rise and was just getting started, though his family and estate are determined to keep his memory alive. This past Friday, they dropped his debut album, Shoot For the Stars, Aim For the Moon. After a bit of drama concerning the album’s artwork, the album arrives, though everything got straightened up before the release.

The album is executive produced by 50 Cent, who also shows up as a featured artist. The LP comes loaded with nineteen brand new tracks, boasting a handful of notable features along the way. Pop Smoke serves up a dose of his patented sound and style, providing a unique and contagious listening experience.

The project includes features from the likes of DaBaby, Lil Baby, Future, Quavo, Rowdy Rebel, Tyga, Karol G, and King Combs. Shoot For the Stars, Aim For the Moon is a solid showcase of Pop’s unadulterated talents and an album we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. Some of our favorite tracks include “For The Night” with Lil Baby & DaBaby, “Yea Yea,” “Enjoy Yourself,” featuring KAROL G, and “Got It On Me.”
