Power In Art | Adam Lister Reveals ‘POWER’ Print

New York’s very own Adam Lister is back in the news feed. Today the artist becomes the latest to show his support for Black Lives Matters causes. The New York-based artist returns with a new print edition to benefit the Equal Justice Initiative. EJI is a non-profit organization based in Montgomery, Alabama, which provides legal counsel and representation to prisoners who may have been wrongly convicted.

Lister’s ‘POWER’ print features his patented pixelated aesthetic, offering something powerful, eye-catching, and unique. The piece features an iconic raised fist, which serves as a longstanding symbol of solidarity and support. The print exudes unity, defiance, resistance, or strength, measuring in at eight by ten inches. Only 50 of the prints will be created, and all proceeds from the sale of the edition will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative.

Back in 2020, the non-profit won the Webby People’s Voice Award for Charitable Organization/Nonprofit in the “Web” category. Their long-term goals are to end mass incarceration, excessive punishment, and racial inequality.

Check out the eye-catching new ‘POWER’ print in the image, and get yours Adam Lister’s website. Each print is priced at $100 USD. In the meantime, keep it locked for much more from the art department coming very soon.
