Power & Performance! Cadillac Unveils The V-Series Blackwings Sedans

Known for their heritage designs and impressive luxurious appeal, Cadillac returns. However, this time it’s all about performance. The iconic auto manufacturer is back with a pair of ultra-high-performance sedans dubbed “Blackwing.” The Cadillac V-Series Blackwings include the CT4-V and CT5-V sedans. The CT4-V Blackwing is being touted as the “most powerful and fastest Cadillac in the subcompact class.”

Powered by a 3.6L twin-turbo V6 engine, the car boasts 472 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. That equates to a zero to 60 mph of just 3.8 seconds. The CT4-V also features Titanium connecting rods and revised crankshaft counterweights for better performance under heavy acceleration. The CT5-V is powered by a 6.2L supercharged V8 pulled from the Chevrolet Corvette. This stunning machine is larger in size and boasts a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds. The 1.7L four-lobe Eaton supercharger provides consistent power, eliminating lag in the process.

Both vehicles are outfitted with an electronic limited-slip rear differential, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension, Launch Control, Performance Traction Management, and digital gauge clusters. Cadillac offers a 10-speed automatic transmission as an option, though a six-speed manual transmission is standard.
