Pusha T – Diet Coke (Prod. Kanye West and 88-Keys)

The one and only, Pusha T returns. The wordsmith is back with a brand new single, giving us something quite contagious for our listening enjoyment. The track follows several viral videos during Paris Fashion Week that signified his musical return. The new track is called “Diet Coke” and is produced by Kanye West and 88-Keys.

The track is the wordsmith’s first of 2022 and looks to be his first offering from his highly-anticipated follow-up to his 2018 project, DAYTONA. “Diet Coke” is pushed by these menacing drum sections that are paired with some soulful, somewhat ominous melodic elements. Pusha takes to the beat like a fish to water, unleashing his uncanny and unadulterated style in the process.

The MC raps: “Imaginary players ain’t been coached right Master recipes under stove lights The number on this jersey is the quote price You ordered Diet Coke, that’s a joke, right?” He goes on to rap, “They mad at us, who wouldn’t be? We became everything you couldn’t be Everything your mama said you shouldn’t be The Porsche’s horses revvin’, like, “Look at me” Saddle up, I’m still pitchin’, baby, batter up.” The lyrics are gritty, and on point, the beat is infectious and head-nod inducing. What more could you want? Check out the new single, “Diet Coke,” in the stream below, and look for much more from Pusha T coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for all the best in new music.
