Raekwon – ‘The Appetition’ EP

For nearly three decades, Raekwon has kept us, as rap fans, entertained with a slew of incredible material. The wordsmith is back, returning after millions of records sold with a new hunger and a new EP entitled ‘The Appetition.’ The new project finds Rae doing what he does best, flexing his lyrical prowess on the mic while putting together a solid showcase of new music. The wordsmith recently spoke about the project and how it all came together.

The Chef stated: “I love to challenge myself with all different types of music.” He added, “That’s why they call me The Chef, I put my season on things I feel, and I can make taste good.” The project was recorded at Red Bull Music Studios in New York, and Raekwon doesn’t disappoint. While it’s short on tracks, it’s big on bars as Raekwon again shows off his undeniable and untouchable talents behind the mic. The three-track EP includes tracks like “Solid Gold” and “Chef It Up,” offering a dose of incredible lyricism and smooth instrumentals.
