Ready For Adventure | 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Buggy

We’ve seen custom vehicles of all sorts. We’ve also seen plenty of unique concept cars. Today we get a look at something that should be a concept rendering when it’s actually a brilliant, real-life custom. Check out this 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Buggy. This is a dream come true. The vehicle started as a fiberglass-bodied Corvette, which was transformed into a stripped-down buggy ready for off-road adventures.

The body panels have been removed, while the front and frame rails have been shortened. A heavy-duty roll cage replaces the fiberglass top, while the LS V8, six-speed manual transmission, and suspension remain. It has been outfitted with DOT-legal Hella lighting, a tubular front bumper, custom rear-mounted exhaust, and a tubular front bumper from a Jeep Rubicon. The ride is even equipped with a custom fabricated cowling and cover panels, also adding webbing around the doors and tow hooks at the rear. Sure, it’s not your typical Corvette, but it’s one we’d love to hit the trails in!

Check out this stunning ride in the images below and head over to Bring A Trailer to place your bid immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more custom cars, concept rides, and even some classics coming soon.
