The good folks over at BMW are back at it again. Today the automaker is back with some big news, revealing the all-new CE 04 urban electric scooter. The vehicle was teased last year at BMW’s #NEXTGen 2020 event. The futuristic design features a sleek look, perfect as an urban commuter for short journeys. The final design has been revealed, offering a promising electric two-wheeler in the process.
The CE 04 features 31 kW (42 hp) of power and a 0 – 50 km/h time of 2.6 seconds. The scooter boasts a range of roughly 130 kilometers and a charge time of 4 hours and 20 minutes, or 1 hour and 40 minutes when using a quick charger. The scooter is host to a one-piece tubular steel mainframe construction, equipped with ASC (Automatic Stability Control), DTC (Dynamic Traction Control), and different ride settings for eco, rain, and dry road.
The CE 04 scooter even gets a large 10.25-inch TFT color screen, powerful LED lighting, and plenty of storage for your helmet, small bags, and cases. There is even a dedicated ventilated mobile phone charging compartment with a USB-C port.
