It’s been a minute since we last heard from Ab-Soul. The TDE representative has been playing the background recently, but today he returns. This time around, he and Reason link up for a new single for our listening pleasures. The new track is called “Flick It Up,” which might just be from Reason’s forthcoming album with the label. The Carson, California natives invade the interwebs and serve up a contagious dose of their respective talents.
“Flick It Up” is driven by some infectiously smooth melodies which are seamlessly paired with some hard-hitting, head nod-inducing drum sections. The combination provides the west coast natives with a solid home to do their thing. They do not disappoint, hitting us with a barrage of their lyrical prowess and bars along the way. The track is the latest single from Reason, who has certainly been on his grind as of late. The wordsmith has been unleashing some real gems, and “Flick It Up” is just the latest.
