The good folks over at Coca-Cola are back, refreshing the world of footwear in the process. The beverage company has aligned with ASICS for a collaborative GEL-Quantum 90. The shoe’s official name is “Tokyo,” which might be related to the forthcoming Tokyo Olympic Games.
The sneaker’s sleek silhouette is decked out in a full white mesh upper with a raised Tiger Stripe cage covered in red branding. Red is also seen detailing the rope laces, the ASICS branding on the tongue, and even the lace stay, which features a Coca-Cola bottle on it.
More “Coke Red” accents are found on the interior and on the branded heel tab. The sneakers are also tinted green as an homage to the glasses and bottles that Coca-Cola was served in. The collaborative design is finished off with a complementing box that is host to “Coke Red” and white branding.
