For fans of footwear and sneakerheads across the globe, the Nike SB Dunk is an icon. Not only for its fit but also thanks in part to its wide range of colorful collaborations and compelling colorways through the years. The SB Dunk is back, arriving in its low-top form with a special partnership between Nike and Ben & Jerry’s; the “Chunky Dunky”. To say that this collaboration is flavorful would be a drastic understatement.
The “Chunky Dunky,” as it has been dubbed, pulls inspiration from Ben & Jerry’s popular classic banana, fudge, and walnut “Chunky Monkey.” The upper of the sneaker is dressed with a leather base that features green pastures and blue skies. The colorful details are accented by cow print pony hair, while the Swoosh is seen dripping in Ben & Jerry’s signature yellow.
The kicks are then accented by “Chunky Dunky” marked tongue tags, embroidered “NIKE” heel tabs, and specially printed insoles. The eye-catching collaboration arrives with swappable laces, an eye-catching rainbow sock liner, and a white midsole. Finishing things off is a contrasting green rubber outsole for an extra pop of color.
Take a closer look at Ben & Jerry’s x Nike SB Dunk Low “Chunky Dunky” in the images below and look for the sneakers to arrive at select skate shops globally on May 23 and on Nike SNKRS May 26. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new sneakers and footwear coming soon.
