The talented rising star known as Remi Wolf is back. The California born and raised artist has been making quite a name for herself as of late, and today she returns with a new track for our listening enjoyment. This time around, she serves up the Tune-Yards remix of her highly contagious single, “Monte Carlo.” The track originally arrived as a single ahead of her upcoming EP, I’m Allergic To Dogs! and today it returns with an energetic new approach.
“Monte Carlo” takes on a whole new vibe; it’s laid back original feel switch up with an uptempo combination that is sure to induce instant head nodding. Her catchy vocals are paired seamlessly with these punchy, hard-hitting drum sections, which are seamlessly accented with vocal chops and samples from the original.
The result is something special as both the Tune-Yards and Remi showcase their abilities flawlessly. The remix certainly adds a new feel to the track, though the original shouldn’t be slept upon either. If you haven’t gotten acquainted with the sounds of Remi Wolf, now would be a great time to start.
