For fans of Zelda, Nintendo has something big on the horizon. It’s hard to believe that it’s been thirty-five years since the first iteration of the classic game title. After a number of teasers at E3, Nintendo returns with a look at more Zelda news in celebration of the franchise’s 35th anniversary.
Today the gaming and tech giant has announced a brand new Game & Watch handheld. The device will come loaded with three classic Zelda games including, The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, and Link’s Awakening. The handheld also comes with a remake of Vermin, though with Link as the original character.
Unlike the Mario 35th-anniversary version, this version comes rocking a green colorway, which adds a nice touch. However, the device is equipped with the same LCD display and USB Type-C charging port. Word on the interwebs is that the handheld will be released on November 12 for a price of $49.99 USD.
Take a closer look at the game and watch handheld in the video, and head over to Nintendo for more information. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more tech and gaming news coming very soon.
