The one and only, Rexx Life Raj, is back. The wordsmith makes his return today alongside D Smoke for a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. The two have aligned for the first time in their careers for a smooth new single entitled “Optimistic.” The track arrives on the heels of D Smoke’s 2020 project, Black Habits, and Rexx’s string of singles. Since the beginning of the year, these two have remained busy, with Rexx serving up tracks like “Stimulus Check” and “Bounce Back.”
Now they have joined forces for an impressive new single from EMPIRE’s new compilation album, EMPIRE Presents: Voices For Change Vol. 1. The fellas bring their a-game and get quite a backdrop to excel upon. Driven by these growling synths and these punchy, menacing drum sections, the backdrop provides the duo with an incredible home to do their thing upon. Both deliver a solid showcase of their respective abilities and collide to create something special. Stay hopeful and remain “Optimistic.”
