Known for blending luxury and performance, BMW is back at it yet again. The automaker is looking to bring its electric vehicle technology to the mass market, doing so with a sleek new SUV. Today we get our first look at the BMW i4 Gran Coupe. This stunning machine is slated to arrive in 2021, offering an electrified spiritual successor to the 3-series. The ride is sleek and stylish, as expected, while BMW promises performance to rival even the M3.
This bad boy is packed with 530 horsepower, which comes from the electric motor. An 80 kWh battery pack will provide 350 miles of range, while BMW claims a 0-62 mph time of just four seconds. However, the production version could be substantially quicker. While little else is known as the moment about the i4 Gran Coupe, we’re hoping to find out more about the ride soon. BMW is always looking to push the industry forward, and this looks to be a great way to do it.
