Riding Into The Future! The Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV

The good folks over at Hyundai are back in the news, and they have their eyes on the future. Today the automaker is back with something new for the future, unveiling the Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV. The vehicle made its official debut back in 2019, and it seems like the styling of the production model doesn’t stray from the concept. The SUV is based on Hyundai’s E-GMP platform.

The Ioniq 5 is similar in dimension to the Mustang Mach 5, boasting creased, origami-inspired lines. This provides a unique take on the crossover body style, while a modern aesthetic is seen inside. The interior features a clean, minimalist approach with a straight-edged design.

Features include a metal panel on the dash for displaying pictures with magnets. This marks another entry into the EV range of cars, and Hyundai estimates a range of 298 miles for the Ioniq 5 when it arrives. The ride is set to show up at dealers in the first half of 2021 as a 2022 model.

Take a closer look at this futuristic new ride in the images and head over to Hyundai to find out more right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more automotive news coming very soon.
