The beautiful and exceptionally talented Rochelle Jordan is back. It’s been a minute, but today the Toronto-based singer-songwriter delivers something new called “GOT EM.” The new single is her first of 2021 and her first since she joined a new label. Ms. Jordan has joined TOKiMONSTA’s Young Art Records and delivers something incredible.
Rochelle spoke about the new single and stated: “‘GOT EM’ is my song of Affirmation.” She went on to say, “I wrote it in 2017, a time where I had an intense epiphany about life. I started to become much more spiritually aware than I have ever been before. All the repetition in this song is my way of being able to meditate on these words of encouragement and confidence, affirm and push through.”
Jordan added, “Talking my sh*t in the first verse, to speaking and encouraging whoever is listening in the second, I just wanted this song to seep into the veins of whoever needs to be lifted.” This talented young woman never disappoints, and she certainly doesn’t start today.
