Another day, another new drop from Rockie Fresh. This man has been on his grind as of late, serving up a new opus last week. The project is the first full-length album we’ve heard from Rockie in nearly three years. ‘Destination’ comes loaded up with an array of new material, a solid opus with some infectious new singles. One of the standout singles is “Feelings Hurt.” The track finds Rockie linking up with Casey Veggies and 24hrs, each one bringing a dose of their respective talents. The track is driven by this bouncy instrumental full of contagious melodic elements and snappy drums.
The combination provides the trio with a nice home to excel, and they effortlessly do their thing. Rockie and Casey speak about separate situations that have placed them in their current positions. They speak lyrically and flawlessly showcase their respective talents. Rockie raps: “Shorty wanna come and do me like I’m homework Been missing’ her text, she tryna ask me if my phone work But when she see me, every time she be goin’ up I send her back home smellin’ like kush when she roll with us I got my drink, and every time she gon’ pour it up.” This isn’t the one we’d suggest sleeping on.
