Roger Dubuis has returned to unveil a hyper-technical dubbed the Knights of the Round Table Monotourbillon/X. This isn’t your typical timepiece, which is precisely why it caught our attention. The stunning timepiece features a complex design that incorporates the Twelve Knights as they join the Monotourbillon design. The design represents the 8th edition of the Knights of the Round collection with a Monotourbillon at the center that acts as a “shield” against gravitational forces.
Each knight is made from Pink Gold 750/1000 and micro sculpted by hand at just 6mm in height. Reading time is a new experience too. The timepiece features two gold markers that are integrated into the circular design of translucent-purple Murano glass blocks. A setting system can also be found at the two o’clock position, where once pressed, a flag is raised to indicate winding and setting modes. The movement is housed in a 45mm pink gold 750/1000 case, providing a sleek and stylish aesthetic. The Knights of the Round Table Monotourbillon/X will retail for $620,000 USD.
