Continuing his promise of new material each week, the wordsmith returns this week with a contagious new single called “3:15 (Breathe).” Never one to disappoint, Russ again shows off his lyrical prowess, as well as his depth and delivery.
The track has a laid-back vibe that comes in part from a smooth, grooving bassline and these soulful, sped-up vocal samples. The smooth, laid-back, punchy drum sections bring every together seamlessly, providing Russ with an incredible home to do his thing. He rides the beat like a seasoned vet, again showing off his growth and his depth.
