Rustic Luxury | The Harlosh Black H Cabin

In case you couldn’t tell, we have a soft spot for outstanding modern architecture. Today we get a look at a stunning dwelling located on a small peninsula on the coast of Scotland’s Isle of Sky. Known as the Harlosh Black H Cabin, the structure was designed as a unique hideaway and an escape from reality. The cabin offers stunning views and a great place to call home for a few days while getting away from the daily grind.

The contemporary retreat contrasts the rugged scenery, doing so with its boxy form and dark facade. The exterior is clad in blackened larch, contrasting the area with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. That quality continues inside, providing a welcoming and cozy place to escape the harsh climate.

The cabin also boasts floor-to-ceiling glazing that keeps the guests connected to the beautiful landscape. The surrounding area is home to Loch Vatten and Macleod’s Table, which provides plenty to see and do while in the area. The living spaces also open to two terraces, perfect for catching a glimpse of dolphins and sea otters.

Take a closer look at this stunning cabin in the images below and find out more about the structure from Harlosh right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more modern architecture coming very soon.
